Bison Re-rope™ are a collection of renewed and wearable climbing ropes and accessories. They were either Recycled, Upcycled or Reused retired climbing ropes. This program joins the outdoor enthusiasts that support sustainability with in the climbing community. Bison Re-Ropes™ require a lot of work to return to the retail market for renewed life. The Re-Rope™ process has many steps: 1. Re-Ropes™ are collected from gyms, rope braiding factories, or individuals 2. They are bundled and washed with environmentally friendly soap 4. Re-Ropes™ are cut to length for belts and accessories 5. The sheath is heat pressed at 200psi and 350°F 6. Sheaths are zig-zag sewn into flat layers ready for belt buckles and clips.
